TC QS (Quality System)

The Technical Committee for Quality (GULFMET TC QS) is the GULFMET is concerned with ISO/IEC 17025 implementation in the National Metrology Institutes (NMIs). It coordinates the efforts, shares and share and develops knowledge on ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and best practice.

The (GULFMET TC-Q) is responsible for carrying out the activities required by GULFMET as Regional Metrology Organization (RMO) for the fulfillment of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement CIPM-MRA) In particular, the following taskss:

• Provide guidance on QMS implementation as per ISO /IEC17025 requirements
• Review QMS documentation and provide comments and feedback.
• Evaluate system effectiveness and follow up proposed  corrective actions  
• Involve in  peers evaluation with other RMOs
• Report any discrepancies to GULFMET Secretary for action
