BIPM and TÜBİTAK UME are pleased to inform you that the applications for the second cycle (2019) of the "BIPM–TÜBİTAK UME project placements" (2018 & 2019) are now open!!!
The targeted audience: young and relatively inexperienced scientific and technical staff from BIPM Member States or Associates (and from NMIs that are in advanced negotiations with the BIPM to become a Member State or Associate) that have emerging metrology systems.
Dates and short information:
Applications are open until 9 November 2018.
Successful candidates will be selected and notified of their placement by 26 November 2018.
For the successful candidates, laboratory and accommodation costs will be covered by TÜBİTAK UME. The trainees are responsible for their own travel, insurance and personal expenditures.
The second cycle will begin on 1 March 2019 . Placement durations at TÜBİTAK UME range from 1 to 3 months depending on the trainees' research interests and preferences.
