The GSO’s Technical Council has appointed Dr. Ismail Abdullah Alfaleh as Vice President of the GULFMET starting from the first of January 2022 for three years, subject to renewal, based on the nomination of the member states and the recommendation of the GULFMET President, Who shall carry out the responsibilities and powers of the President in his absence or any responsibilities that may be assigned to him by the GULFMET President.
Dr. Ismail Abdullah Alfaleh received his Ph.D. degree in Quantum Devices, Condensed Matter Physics from the Royal Holloway University of London in 2016. He is currently the General Director of the National Measurement and Calibration Center - (NMCC). He is a member of various advisory committees at The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), and in the Departments of Physics in King Saud University, Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, and Islamic University of Madinah. In addition, He is head of several technical committees at SASO. Dr. Alfaleh ثxpert in measurement and calibration in the laboratory of thermal measurement and humidity laboratory in the laboratory of volumes, density, and experience in the laboratory of dimensions and Josephson Standard Voltage Laboratory.
