The GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Eng. Abdulelah Alqarnas as the new Secretary of the GULF ASSOCIATION FOR METROLOGY (GULFMET). The Technical Council of the GSO reached this decision in recognition of Eng. Alqarnas's outstanding expertise, leadership, and dedication to the field of metrology.

Eng. Alqarnas brings a wealth of experience in metrology; in recent years, he worked within the GULFMET Secretariat team and represented the GULFMET in many regional and international forums and events. His strong track record of driving initiatives to enhance metrology practices and promote regional collaboration makes him exceptionally well-suited for this pivotal role.

 This appointment reflects our commitment to fostering excellence in metrology and ensuring that the Gulf region remains at the forefront of metrology development.
